KOATS for Kids:
5 Alarm Coin Laundry is proud to be a donation location for the Salvation Army's KOATS for Kids program. From September 16th to September 30th, donate one new or lightly used (like- new) coat to receive a free 40 lb wash, or donate three or more new or lightly used coats to receive two free 40 lb washes at 5 Alarm.
*Please show the attendant the coat before it is placed in the donation bin so they can verify the donation. Once coat is donated, the attendant will start the 40 lb washing machine for you.

On Tuesdays – Thursdays, from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM, Rockford Public School students can wash and dry two baskets of clothing for free.
To participate in the program, you must register your student by using the red button at the top of the page to secure your spot for the 5 Alarm Coin Laundry location you prefer.
Each student will need to present their school ID or a school summary sheet with school info and photo.
This program is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
